How processing credits work
For a 240p to 720p source short side, text, subtitle, caption and Advanced logo or watermark cleanup use 1 credit per second. A 721p to 1080p source uses 2 credits per second, a 1081p to 1440p source uses 4, and a 1441p to 2160p source uses 6. Basic logo or watermark cleanup uses half the applicable rate.
The server checks the source video before confirming the final amount. Credits held for a job are returned if processing cannot complete.
Frequently asked questions
How do credits convert to video time?
For standard cleanup, a 240p to 720p source uses 1 credit per second, a 721p to 1080p source uses 2, a 1081p to 1440p source uses 4, and a 1441p to 2160p source uses 6. Basic logo or watermark cleanup uses half the applicable rate.
What can I do with the 30 free credits?
Trial credits work with original-dimension videos up to 4K. They can cover about 30 seconds of standard cleanup for a 240p to 720p source, about 15 seconds for a 721p to 1080p source, about 7.5 seconds for a 1081p to 1440p source, or about 5 seconds for a 1441p to 2160p source.
How many areas can I select manually?
Free accounts can mark up to 3 areas in one video. Any paid credit pack or subscription increases the limit to 10 manual selection areas.
Do credits roll over?
One-time credit packs are valid for 12 months. Each monthly allocation expires at the end of its credit cycle, including allocations delivered during an annual subscription.
Does annual billing give all credits upfront?
No. The annual total is paid once, but credits are delivered in monthly allocations.
When does a subscription change take effect?
A plan or billing-cadence change takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period and does not grant an immediate extra monthly allocation.
What happens if processing fails?
Credits held for a job are returned if processing cannot complete. You can retry with the restored balance after checking the video and cleanup settings.
Is batch processing included?
No. Batch processing is not available as a public pricing entitlement yet. The current pricing page only lists features that are available to users.
How is my video data handled?
Upload begins only after you confirm processing. Temporary working files are used to complete the job, and media retention follows the Privacy Policy.
Is payment secure?
Stripe card checkout is the default payment method, and PayPal checkout is also available when shown. RemoveText.video does not store raw card data.
