Operator and contact

RemoveText.video is operated by an individual operator. Contact support at removetext.video for privacy, deletion, access or support requests.

Account, upload and processing data

Google sign-in is used for account access. We store account identifiers such as email, display name, Google subject identifier, avatar URL when provided, session records, plan, credits and billing status.

When you process a video, we may store uploaded originals, outputs, selected areas, mode, source and delivered dimension metadata, duration, frame-rate metadata, OCR metadata used to verify browser detection, job status, history, download records and support diagnostics.

Feedback and support messages

The feedback form stores the category, message, optional contact detail, page path, language, limited request metadata and a reference number in Cloudflare D1. If you are signed in, the record may be linked to your internal account ID; visitors can still submit without signing in.

Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent automated abuse, and Discord receives a copy so the operator can review new feedback. The form does not accept image uploads. Feedback records are deleted after 180 days unless a valid deletion request or law requires another period.

Storage, processors and infrastructure

The service uses Cloudflare Pages, Workers, D1 and R2 for hosting, application logic, account data, job records and media storage. Video processing may use Tencent Media Processing Service and Tencent COS for provider-side processing and temporary assets.

Payment identifiers may be stored for Stripe and PayPal, including Stripe Checkout Session, Customer, PaymentIntent, Subscription, Invoice, refund and dispute identifiers, plus PayPal order, subscription and transaction identifiers. Stripe processes card, billing, tax, invoice, refund and dispute data for Stripe payments. RemoveText.video does not store raw card numbers.

Analytics, replay and logs

Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs Analytics, Google Analytics 4 and Plausible load by default unless you previously chose Necessary only. We use them to understand page usage, product reliability and conversion flow.

Clarity replay is configured with masking on sensitive product areas such as upload, preview, result, dashboard, account identity and billing UI. Analytics events are coarse-grained and should not include filenames, email addresses, private URLs, payment IDs or raw recognized text.

Local browser storage

Before server upload, the current browser may keep selected video drafts, selected regions, processing settings and the rights acknowledgement status in IndexedDB, sessionStorage or localStorage so the workspace can survive sign-in or a short interruption and avoid repeated confirmations. Local drafts and acknowledgement preferences are controlled by your browser.

Retention, deletion and user rights

Original videos and free-trial outputs are retained for up to 7 days. Paid outputs are retained for up to 30 days. Temporary working files are deleted after processing, subject to lifecycle cleanup fallbacks.

Account, payment, credit and security records may be retained as needed for operations, dispute handling, tax, fraud prevention and legal compliance. You can delete eligible media in the product or email support at removetext.video to request access, correction, deletion or restriction, subject to legal and security limits.

Children, cross-border processing and legal requests

The service is not directed to children under 13 or to users below the age required by local law. Do not upload videos of minors in sexualized, exploitative or unsafe contexts.

Because providers and infrastructure may operate in multiple regions, your data may be processed outside your country. We may disclose information when required to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse or enforce the Terms.
