Frame-rate policy
A constant-rate source at or below 30 fps keeps its original frame rate. A source above 30 fps is standardized to 30 fps CFR. Variable-rate footage is converted to a stable CFR: high-rate VFR becomes 30 fps, while lower-rate VFR is never increased above its effective source rate.

Audio and timeline
Cleanup runs on a normalized timeline. When usable audio is present, the first main audio track is re-encoded as AAC and aligned with the finished video.
Credits
Standard 480p and 720p processing uses 4 credits per second. 1080p uses 1.5× that resolution rate. Cleanup mode can change the final quote, but frame rate does not: the same duration, mode and resolution cost the same at 24, 30, 60 or 120 fps. The server confirms the final amount after checking the video. Credits are held when processing starts and returned if processing fails. See Pricing.
Upload, privacy and temporary processing files
Selecting a video keeps it local in your browser. Upload begins only after you confirm Process. All server-side checking and processing happens after that confirmation. Normalized clips, masks and assembly files are temporary and are removed after processing or by configured storage-retention controls. Read the Privacy Policy for current data and retention terms.
Known limitations
- High-frame-rate conversion to 30 fps reduces temporal detail compared with the source.
- Fast motion behind a selected area can make a generated repair less consistent across frames.
- Only the first main audio track is included in the finished MP4 and it is re-encoded as AAC.
- Damaged timing metadata or unsupported codecs can prevent processing.

Will a 24 fps video be converted to 30 fps?
No. A constant 24 fps source stays at 24 fps. We do not create extra frames simply to reach 30 fps.
What happens to 60 fps or 120 fps video?
High-frame-rate video is standardized to a stable 30 fps output before AI cleanup. This keeps timing predictable and processing costs under control.
How do you handle variable-frame-rate video?
We convert variable timing to a stable constant frame rate. High-frame-rate VFR becomes 30 fps; lower-frame-rate VFR is kept at or below its effective source rate.
Will the finished video keep its original sound?
When the source includes a usable audio track, the first main audio track is re-encoded as AAC and aligned with the standardized video timeline.
