What happens to your video after cleanup

Before cleanup begins, RemoveText.video checks your source video. This page explains what we preserve, what can change in the delivered file, and when a video is not accepted for processing.

What stays the same—and what can change

We check the source before processing and validate the delivered file before it becomes available. The table below separates the requirements we verify from file details that can differ after processing.

Sound	If the source has audio, the delivered video must include audio.	Individual audio tracks and codecs can differ from the source.

Which videos can be processed

MP4, MOV, or WebM files up to 100 MB.
A source short side from 240p to 2160p. Smaller videos are not enlarged, and larger videos are not silently downscaled.
RemoveText.video currently accepts readable source video from 1 to 240 fps. This is a site input requirement, not a promise about the delivered file. Damaged timing metadata, unsupported codecs, or unreadable files cannot be processed.
Your plan's video-duration limit is checked before a job begins.

How source resolution changes credit use

The server confirms the source duration, dimensions, selected cleanup service, and final credit amount before processing starts. Frame rate does not change the credit quote.

Credits are held when processing starts. A usable result with a timing reminder is charged at the source-video quote you confirmed, without an extra charge for a longer output. If we cannot deliver a usable result, the held credits are returned.

Upload and file retention

Selecting a file creates a local browser preview. Upload starts only after you confirm the processing details and choose Process.

Original videos are retained for up to 7 days. Free-trial outputs are retained for up to 7 days, and paid outputs for up to 30 days. Temporary working files are removed after processing or by lifecycle cleanup.

History is not a media archive

Your account history can remain after a media file expires, but an expired original or output is no longer available to play or download. See the Privacy Policy for the current data-handling terms.

When to inspect the result closely

Automatic cleanup can miss a target or include nearby detail you meant to keep. A fixed mark or caption is usually easier to handle with a tight Select area.
Select area applies cleanup to the area you mark. It does not search for extra targets outside that area.
Fast motion, faces, hands, hair, reflections, and fine texture can leave flicker, blur, or reconstruction artifacts behind the removed area.
Review the complete finished video before publishing, especially where the selected area crosses movement or detailed backgrounds.

Will my video be resized?

What happens to 60 fps, 120 fps, or variable-frame-rate video?

What happens if processing cannot be completed?

A usable result remains available to preview and download even if it carries a timing reminder, and the confirmed credits are charged normally. If we cannot deliver a usable result, the held credits are returned.

How long are my video files available?

Original videos are retained for up to 7 days. Free-trial outputs are retained for up to 7 days, and paid outputs for up to 30 days. Your history can remain after an expired media file is no longer playable or downloadable.

Which files can I upload?
